This week, all my effort was focused on my proposal of my action research project. We finished up the methodology section of the proposal, gave it a couple of editing passes and then published it for peer review.
The most important resource that made a difference to my learning was my partner’s feedback during the finalizing of our proposal. She is an enthusiastic, insightful and knowledgeable person. I highly value what she has to offer as feedback. This made the collaboration effort in putting together this proposal easy. I think we turned out a product that is academic in nature and high quality. I felt confident when I submitted the proposal that our peers would also agree with the quality.
I attended both twitter sessions in order to participate with my PLN. The give and take with questions and answers is always helpful with the week’s assignments and readings. I enjoyed being able to peer review other’s proposals this week, too. I endeavored to give thorough and specific feedback in order to help my peers improve their proposals. I also, really enjoyed reading the blogs of the week and the posted proposals because of all the enthusiasm everyone has for their projects. The positive energy is certainly contagious!
Next week, I continue to plan on attending both twitter sessions to engage with my PLN. Along with my partner, I will begin the data collection phase of our project. It will be interesting to see the survey in action – in the sense of what answers will be returned and the functioning of the data collection tool.
